Man charged with stealing camera gear from Bondi attack victim
A man has been charged with stealing camera equipment from one of the victims of the December terror attack in Bondi, in what police describe as a callous act that has outraged the local community.
The 35-year-old man allegedly stole the camera gear belonging to 61-year-old Peter Meagher, a retired police officer and photographer who was killed in the attack.
Police allege the offender, who was working as a photographer at the Hanukkah event where the terror attack occurred, took Mr Meagher’s camera equipment from the scene. #bondi #charge #police #nswpolice #theft
