Western Queensland’s unbelievable fight against invasive cactus | Landline | ABC NEWS


A couple of potted cacti left behind near an outback sheep station in western Queensland more than half a century ago has since spread across thousands of hectares, leading to a huge effort to control a major invasion of the cactus. There are fears it could find its way into waterways which flow to Kati-Thanda-Lake Eyre. Landline’s Courtney Wilson explains.
