Four masked men broke into a home on St Hilliers Road in Auburn around 1am, attacking two brothers aged 19 and 23 with a firearm during a 10-minute invasion. The victims were hospitalised with head and facial injuries while police investigate whether the incident is linked to escalating gang violence across Sydney. Authorities are appealing for witnesses and footage as they search for the armed intruders who fled on foot.
