No significant injuries have been reported, but the incident has created severe congestion on General Holmes Drive and Southern Cross Drive, with traffic banked back to the Eastern Distributor. Frustrated drivers have abandoned their vehicles on the roadways, while large trucks have been seen reversing to escape the chaos.
