‘Crime against democracy’: Outrage over Labor’s capital gains tax and negative gearing backflip

Sky News host Andrew Bolt accuses the Albanese government of betraying voters after major tax policy reversals.

“What this Albanese government did by slashing the capital gains tax discount and negative gearing after repeatedly promising not to at the last election was to steal your power as a voter,” Mr Bolt said.

“This was a crime against democracy.

“He’s stolen your power to choose the country’s destiny.

“When politicians promise one thing and a year later do the exact opposite, they’ve put themselves in charge.

“Albanese has stolen something very precious and voting him out may be the last power voters have left.”
