‘Finish the job’: Former VP Pence ‘proudly’ backs Trump’s ‘essential’ war in Iran
Former US Vice President Mike Pence has thrown his absolute support behind the Trump administration’s war with Iran.
Pence, who fell out of favour with the president following the 2020 election, said the war “had to happen”.
The former vice president said he “couldn’t be more proud” of Trump’s decision to “unleash” US forces.
Pence goes on to say Iran’s military is degraded and it is “essential” that the US “finish the job”.
Pence goes on to finish his remarks about Iran, saying the regime has shown “arrogance” and the deployment of troops may be needed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
