Disappearance of 5yo Sharon declared major crime, fugitive task force called in | ABC NEWS
Northern Territory Police have given an update on the search for missing five-year-old Sharon Granites.
Police believe Sharon was taken by 47-year-old Jefferson Lewis from Old Timers Camp south of Alice Springs.
Assistant Commissioner Peter Malley says the search for Sharon is “one of the biggest investigations we’ve had going for a while” He also says the major crime unit is working with local Alice Springs police and the fugitive task force has been called in.
