‘Great news’: Labor’s new aged care funding is a ‘very welcomed move’
COTA Australia Deputy Chief Executive Officer Corey Irlam says Labor’s new decision on aged care reforms has got a “mixed bag review”.
“It’s great news that we are no longer seeing older people having to choose whether they can afford to have a shower when they’ve reached that point in life,” Mr Irlam told Sky News host Steve Price.
“The fact that the government has now moved this into clinical care that they fully fund is a very welcomed move.”
