ANZAC Day National Commemorative Service commemorates over 100,000 fallen service members


The ANZAC Day National Commemorative Service has concluded in Canberra.

It commemorated the more than 100,000 Australians who have died serving their country and marked 111 years since the start of the Gallipoli campaign.

Former service people and their relatives, along with current service men and women, took part in the Veterans’ march to the Australian War Memorial.

The service concluded with a reading of the Ode of Remembrance, followed by the Last Post.
