US President Donald Trump has once again unleashed on NATO and Pacific allies for their lack of support during the ongoing war in Iran. During a press conference on Monday, President Trump provided an update on the war with Iran and doubled down on his attacks on NATO. “NATO’s a paper tiger. NATO is us. And when we needed them, we didn’t need them, by the way. We didn’t need them, obviously, because they haven’t helped at all. Just the opposite. They’ve actually gone out of their way not to help. They didn’t even want to give us landing strips,” Trump said. Trump followed up his scathing remarks by slamming Pacific allies who also refused to support America’s operation in Iran. “You know who else didn’t help us? South Korea didn’t help us. You know who else didn’t help us? Australia didn’t help us. You know who else didn’t help us? Japan. We’ve got 50,000 soldiers in Japan to protect them from North Korea,” Trump said.
