‘The name of Khamenei will continue’: New Iranian Supreme Leader chosen
A new Iranian Supreme Leader has been chosen with Tehran indicating Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s son, Mojtaba, has been appointed.
In a video published in Iranian media and seen by the Reuters news agency, a senior cleric has said: “The name of Khamenei will continue”.
He goes on to say: “The vote has been cast and will be announced soon.”
