Technology shares drop after concerns of ‘overcapitalising’ AI investment

Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says investors are starting to “catch up” with the idea of technology companies “overcapitalising” in AI.

Mr Greenwood said companies like Amazon and Microsoft have dropped in value overnight.

“This is about concerns in every one of these cases … is overcapitalising the AI investment, and it won’t pay off.”
