World-first personalised vaccine trial for childhood brain cancer | 7NEWS

A world-first trial of personalised mRNA vaccines will treat children with deadly brain cancers who are not expected to survive more than two years. The treatment analyses the genetic makeup of each child’s tumour to design a messenger RNA vaccine specifically targeting their individual cancer. Eight hospitals across Australia will begin rolling out the trials later this year.
