Six Chinese nationals detained after illegally entering Australia by boat
Authorities in Western Australia detained six Chinese nationals found wandering near the Colombo community.
The group, which arrived by an unknown vessel, was discovered by an off-duty police officer and subsequently detained by the Australian Border Force.
This incident marks the second detention of foreign nationals arriving by boat in the Kimberley region since 2024.
