Australia and Indonesia to sign historic defence treaty
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has heralded a “new era” in Australia’s relationship with Indonesia as the countries commit to a new security agreement that is being called a watershed moment.
During Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto’s first state visit to Australia, the two leaders agreed to consider a joint response if either country comes under attack.
