Democrats ‘cave’ as US government shutdown comes to an end

Sky News contributor Kosha Gada says the US government’s longest shutdown is coming to an end after “41 days,” in which the Democrats had to “cave”.

“It was starting to hurt the everyday person,” Ms Gada told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“It hurts the government in power; it’s just a reminder of the inefficiency and the gridlock that we have in Washington.”
