Merri-bek City Council under fire as ratepayers fund $45,000 pride flag painting

Sky News host Freya Leach says Merri-bek City Council is spending $45,000 on a pride painting.

“There is no shortage of councils in this country that are spending money on the most ridiculous things,” Ms Leach said.

“Merri-bek Council down in Victoria is spending $45,000 on a pride painting; they are painting the road with a pride flag.”
