‘Pro-America and here to help’: Rudd’s first public comments since Trump meeting
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell has addressed Ambassador Kevin Rudd’s comments on his meeting with US President Donald Trump.
Kevin Rudd has made his first public comments with a reporter since meeting with the president, claiming ‘I’m pro-America and here to help’.
“He went straight for the jugular for the ambassador,” Mr Clennell told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“It’s obvious they’ve got a problem with his previous comments.
“I was there, I was in the room, he knew the guy, and he played it pretty cleverly.”
