Police undertake major drug raid in Brisbane
Inala Tactical Crime Squad have charged two people with a total 23 offences and seized a significant quantity of drugs and $110,000 cash, under Operation Xray Lyken.

Investigations commenced into an alleged supplier trafficking drugs within Brisbane’s south in July after police received reports of suspicious behaviour and vehicles in Oxley and Doolandella.
A protracted investigation, led to three search warrants being conducted across Brisbane’s south on 22 October by Inala TCS with the assistance of Inala General Duties, Scenes of Crime, Dog Squad, Operations Support Command and Intel.
Addresses included two Finetti Circuit properties in Durack, a Linton Street address in Kangaroo Point, a Learoyd Road address in Acacia Ridge and a Crossacres Street address in Doolandella.
The searches allegedly resulted in the location of 3kg of methylamphetamine, 3.6kg of cocaine, more than 19kg of cannabis, a small quantity of MDMA and steroids, and a large sum of cash.
A 35-year-old Kangaroo Point man was arrested during a Finetti Circuit search warrant.
He was subsequently charged with seven counts of possess dangerous drug, three counts of trafficking dangerous drugs, two counts each of possess dangerous drug – over schedule 4, possess property suspect of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence, and one count each of supply dangerous drugs, possess dangerous drug – over schedule 3, possess dangerous drug – over schedule 3 but under 4, possess property obtained from trafficking, possessing anything for use in the commission of crime defined in Part 2, contravene electronic access order, and possess property suspect of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence.
