Obama’s Michigan rally sparks explosive questions over his 2028 presidential plans

US Election Expert Remy Numa suggests Obama’s support for progressive candidate Abdul El-Sayed may offer clues about the kind of Democrat he could back in the 2028 presidential race.

“Obama’s presence in Michigan to me says more about 2028 than it does about these midterms,” Mr Numa told News24 host James Morrow.

“You have got a bona fide progressive candidate in Abdul El -Sayed. He’s about as left-wing as you can get on that side of the party.

“The fact that Obama is throwing his weight behind him in this rally, I think, is indicative of the kind of candidate that Obama might support two years down the road.”
