Comedian Judith Lucy shares breast cancer diagnosis
Australian comedian and actor Judith Lucy said she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo a double mastectomy in a video posted to her Instagram account.
She said the cancer was “relatively non-aggressive” and in its early stages, and she had decided to remove both breasts after her doctor recommended a single mastectomy.
“I have had 40 years of, if I do say so myself, large and spectacular breasts. You had your chance, fellas,” she said.
“So I think I’m quite fine with going bra-free for my last chapter, and my last chapter is going to be very long and healthy.”
