Police speak out against pro-Palestine Opera House rally
A decision on whether a planned pro-Palestine protest at the Sydney Opera House can go ahead will be handed down on Thursday.
New South Wales Police Assistant Commissioner Peter McKenna says the demonstration has “disaster written all over it”.
Approximately 40,000 people are expected to attend the rally on Sunday.
