Light rail driver appears to doze off before crashing into another tram

Newly released footage shows the moment two light rail trains collided in San Francisco in late July, as one operator appeared to be asleep at the controls.
Footage obtained by NorCal Bodycam documents one train crashing into a stopped train at 47th Avenue and Wawona Street on July 31.
The footage begins with the driver scratching his head before his hand falls to his side. The crash then appears to jolt the driver awake and shatters the front windshield.
According to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), the collision involved two L Taraval Muni light rail trains.
No injuries were reported.
