Etihad under fire after traveller asked to restrain passenger threatening to ‘rip faces off’
A Melbourne man says he was asked by Etihad cabin crew to help restrain a disruptive passenger during a flight and has raised concerns about how the airline responded to the incident.
Ethan Watt shared his experience with News24, raising questions about how much responsibility should fall on passengers when an in-flight incident escalates.
“It got to a point where he was even threatening to rip people’s faces off,” Mr Watt told News24.
“[he] was almost foaming at the mouth, it was pretty confronting.”
