UK charity Sentebale sues Prince Harry for defamation | ABC NEWS
A UK charity Prince Harry co-founded is suing him for defamation, according to court documents.
Prince Harry co-founded Sentebale in 2006 in honour of his late mother, Princess Diana, to help young people living with HIV and AIDS in southern Africa.
But the 41-year-old quit as patron of the organisation last year after he said his relationship with the chair and trustees “broke down beyond repair, creating an untenable situation”.
Now, Sentebale has lodged a defamation claim against Prince Harry in London’s High Court.
Neither Harry’s spokesperson nor the charity immediately responded to a request for comment.
