The Reserve Bank of Australia has announced the official cash rate is now 3.85 per cent, citing heated inflation as the key reason for lifting rates for the first time since 2023. A 13-year-old boy has saved his family after swimming four kilometres to reach land, after his family had been swept out to sea in a kayak.
