The $2.5 billion dollar deal to save Australia’s largest aluminium smelter
The Australian government has finalised an agreement to bail out the Tomago aluminium smelter and it’s workforce.
The multi-billion dollar deal, shared between the Commonwealth and New South Wales, will keep the single largest electricity user in the country open beyond 2029.
