Federal court blocks Trump’s White House ballroom renovation
A US federal appeals court has halted the construction of a planned White House ballroom renovation proposed by US President Donald Trump.
The court panel determined that the president does not have authority over the project’s funding.
Mr Trump has expressed frustration with the ruling.
