Leaders of India’s ‘cockroach’ party meet to decide movement’s future


The leaders of India’s Gen Z “cockroach” protests — which forced the resignation of a senior minister in Narendra Modi’s government — say they will remain a pressure group rather than become a formal political party.

The Cockroach Janta Party’s founder, Abhijeet Dipke, says the group will begin a nationwide tour in September to hear about the issues that are most important to young Indians.
