The New South Wales government has formally accepted all 13 recommendations from the coronial inquest into the Westfield Bondi Junction stabbing attack that killed six people in April 2024. The changes include a new response model for mental health emergencies, stronger community support, and better coordination between emergency services. The state government fully backed 11 recommendations and supported two in principle.
