Arson attack on defence manufacturer to be investigated as act of far-left terror

Authorities are investigating as arson attack on a Victorian defence manufacturer as an act of “far-left” terror.
Lovitt Technologies, a business in Melbourne’s northeast, was targeted in July last year with its building vandalised and three cars torched.
The firm was targeted for its supply of components to weapons companies including Lockheed Martin, BAE and Boeing, according to a social media video released days after the attack.
This footage – which appeared to have been filmed from a body-worn camera – was accompanied by a message to the business to “stop arming Israel or else”.
