A mass funeral has been held in Gaza for 112 people, who died in 2023 but whose bodies were only recently recovered from under the rubble of a residential building.
Palestinian authorities say an Israeli strike destroyed the apartment block in November of that year, six weeks after the 7 October Hamas-led assault on southern Israel.
