Government delays migration policy announcement
The federal government has pumped the brakes on a planned immigration policy announcement following cabinet deliberations this week.
Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke was set to unveil the proposal in a speech at the National Press Club on 6 August, but the policy is now on hold.
