Farmers say the biggest change to the nation’s environmental rules in 25 years are unworkable, unfair and will cause farm productivity to fall. They claim the new rules are confusing and fear million dollar fines if they interpret the new federal act incorrectly. A group of primary producers put their case to the new boss of the National Environmental Protection Agency in the paddocks of central Queensland. Landline’s Pip Courtney reports.
