Trans actor Elliot Page blasted for claiming biologists have lied to everyone

News24 host James Macpherson reacts after transgender actor Elliot Page claimed biology is wrong about sex being binary, saying the argument defies basic science.

“The movie was mired in controversy when director Christopher Nolan chose to cast transgender actor Elliott Page to play a man,” Mr Macpherson said.

“Page was appearing on various podcasts this week promoting the film and the idea that biologists have lied to us by insisting that sex and gender are binary.”
