Islamic terrorists kill five soldiers at Thailand checkpoint

Five soldiers were killed and six civilians injured when terrorists attacked the Bukeh Sami municipal checkpoint in Narathiwat, Thailand.
Six heavily armed suspects in a black Nissan pickup truck pulled over and opened fire at close range on troops about 6.45pm on July 22.
Sergeant Major First Class Theerayut Somakerd and four ranger volunteers were killed, while six civilians were injured in the attack.
