Houthis open new front in Middle East war after two Saudi tankers forced to turn back in Red Sea
Former Middle East negotiator Aaron David Miller discusses the Houthis’ naval blockade on Saudi Arabia.
“Two Saudi tankers today were turned back under threat from the Houthis,” he told Sky News Australia.
“We’re beginning to see signs that the Houthis are in fact ratcheting up the pressure.”
Mr David Miller warned it’s plausible the Houthis could open up a new front in the Iran war if they close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait next.
