Apocalyptic scenes in Spain as firefighters battle wildfire blaze
Spanish authorities confirmed a wildfire in the municipality of Ores in Spain’s northern Aragon region has burned more than 38,000 acres of land across an 80-km perimeter.
Fire brigades and military personnel have worked around the clock since Wednesday (July 15) as they struggled to control the intense blaze, forcing the evacuation of more than 1,000 people from the area.
This wildfire is one of several fires that have affected parts of Spain during a period of high temperatures and dry conditions.
