Liberal Party’s consideration for gender quotas risks ‘diminishing’ women

Sky News host Jaimee Rogers claims the Liberal Party’s push for gender quotas ultimately “diminishes” women.

“As the Liberal Party tries to find its relevance and pathway back to government, they are talking again about gender quotas,” Ms Rogers said.

“I agree the party needs to change, but they’re looking in the wrong place.

“The moment someone is selected to satisfy a quota, you unfairly cast doubt over every achievement that follows.

“That’s not empowering women; it’s diminishing them.”
