‘People are fed up’: Iranian activist says 52,000 protesters have been killed

Iranian Human Rights Advocate and Ryde Councillor Tina Kordrostami condemns the regime’s crackdown on dissent, arguing the suffering of ordinary Iranians has been ignored as thousands of protesters have lost their lives.

“People are fed up with this dictatorship; they’ve been fed up for many decades,” Ms Kordrostami told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“We’re forgetting about those living in Iran and what they’re going through.

“Neither the left nor the right is talking about those civilians, these victims.”
