‘Insulting’: Albanese’s UN address will ‘significantly’ set back relationship with US
Liberal Senator Leah Blyth discusses Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s “embarrassing” UN General Assembly address.
“It is extremely embarrassing for Australia, and it just goes to show that after nine months, Anthony Albanese still hasn’t managed to have a face-to-face meeting with US President Donald Trump,” Ms Blyth told Sky News host Rowan Dean.
“I think this speech to the UN will probably set back the relationship with the United States significantly. It is embarrassing for us that he is going there, essentially insulting our best friend and ally.”
