Trump confirms Iran will suffer ‘heavy strikes’ as ruthless operation continues
US President Donald Trump has confirmed Iran will be hit “very hard” as strikes on the regime continue.
During an interview with Salem News Channel, Trump slammed Iran’s leaders as “crazy” and claimed that if the regime had access to a nuclear weapon, it would use it immediately.
Trump also asserted the Strait of Hormuz was open, and the blockade on Iran was reinstated in a post to Truth Social.
“The Hormuz Strait is OPEN, and will remain OPEN, with or without Iran. We are reinstating the IRANIAN BLOCKADE, so named because it is only stopping Iran’s ships or customers from entering or leaving. All other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait,” Trump wrote.
