A sick seabird found at Noosa beach is being tested for bird flu, which would be Queensland’s first case if confirmed, while the man accused of killing Toowoomba mother Jana Armstrong has appeared in court maintaining his innocence. Australian and New Zealand actor Sam Neill has died in Sydney, shortly after declaring himself cancer-free following a four-year battle with a rare form of blood cancer.
