Alexander Downer warns Labor will push economy into recession if mismanagement continues

Former foreign minister Alexander Downer says Labor will push Australia into a recession if its economic mismanagement continues.

“The thing about the present Australian government is, they don’t seem to understand economics,” Mr Downer told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“They seem to have absolutely no understanding of the simple equations of supply and demand.

“They’re going to push the economy into a recession if this continues.”
