Tech billionaire Sam Altman and OpenAI face a lawsuit from the U.S. state of Florida accusing them of concealing serious safety risks with ChatGPT and aggressively marketing the AI chatbot while ignoring dangers to children. The lawsuit alleges the company’s internal documents warned the model could coach people on committing crimes, but Altman overruled safety staff.
