A powerful explosion in northeastern Myanmar near the Chinese border has killed more than 50 people, including six children, after mine explosives stored in a warehouse in a rebel-held village detonated. Separately, the Israeli military has captured the 900-year-old Beauford Castle in southern Lebanon, marking Israel’s deepest incursion into the country in over 25 years amid intensified operations against Hezbollah.
