Australia’s ‘flimsy defence policy’ unable to handle real threats not seen since WWII
Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce has spoken on the need for Australia to lift its defence spending ahead of the prime minister’s meeting with US President Donald Trump.
“We’ve got the biggest problem we’ve had since the second world war,” Mr Joyce told Sky News Australia.
The Nationals MP continued chastising the nation’s “flimsy defence policy” which he believes requires something much more “substantial”.
