Israel pushes deeper into southern Lebanon as military offensive escalates
Israel’s military is pushing deeper into Lebanon, entering a village in the south under intense shelling.
Several evacuation orders have been issued in southern Lebanon by the Israeli military, forcing hundreds of families to flee north.
It comes after Israeli airstrikes reportedly killed more people in the village of Dibbine.
Speaking during his visit to Israel’s northern border, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed his military’s advances into Lebanese territory.
It’s believed Israeli officials have begun direct talks at the Pentagon over the conflict.
