Parisians jump into city canal amid heatwave
Dozens of locals jumped into Paris’ Canal Saint-Martin amid record-breaking heatwaves throughout the city. Footage captured youths jumping into the canal to cool down despite restrictions. According to local police, swimming in all Parisian waterways, including the Canal Saint-Martin, was “strictly prohibited outside of designated areas”.
