Optus has been slammed by the federal and state governments over Thursday’s technical failure that impacted hundreds of triple-0 calls on the Optus network.
WA Police are investigating whether a second West Australian who died on Thursday had attempted to call triple-0 during an Optus outage
If confirmed it would bring the number of deaths linked to the outage to four; two in Western Australia and two in South Australia, which included an eight-week-old baby.
